Palisadian Releases 'Healing Music' CD

Released just five weeks ago, a CD entitled "Wings of Light," a collection of healing melodies, is proving to be a powerful tool for helping people who are looking for comfort in these difficult times.

"Music has been used for generations to help people heal from physical, emotional, and spiritual loss," according to Palisades resident Miriam Maron Emhoff, a singer/songwriter, and co-producer of the CD. "We've assembled a variety of English, Hebrew, and Yiddish healing songs, including well-known, traditional and original music to help people connect to their inner souls and their deepest feelings."

We sought music that would move people, that would warm people's hearts and allow them to feel God's love embracing them like 'wings of light.' Still, we had no idea that the release of the CD would come at a time when there was so much suffering, grieving, and uncertainty in our world."

"We've had overwhelming response to the CD," says Miriam's husband, Bill M. Emhoff, the CD's co-producer. "Rabbis, cantors, ministers, therapists, spiritual teachers, and leaders of many different religions have all expressed how greatly they have been moved and inspired by Miriam's sometimes haunting, always nurturing voice."

Miriam holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania in nursing and is a registered nurse with a graduate degree from USC in exercise physiology. She leads services in various communities, and teaches healing using sacred songs, movement, spiritual texts, guided imagery, meditation, and chant. She also has a private healing practice in Los Angeles. To preview the CD, visit Miriam's Web site at www. MiriamsCyberWell.com.
